Stand-up

Documenting a series of multilingual poster making workshops, Stand Up! zine compiles some of the signs we made together into a new print that reflects Miami’s voice.

Stand Up! Zine is dedicated to showcasing themes of unity and empowerment as expressed by local artists. The posters generated during the Stand Up! workshops were distributed for free at the Women's March on Washington and Women's Rally in South Florida in 2017.

Another cycle of posters were made in 2020 to honor the names and lives of Black individual killed by police brutality. The signs were distributed for free during Black Lives Matter public protests.
